28 Weeks

Some facts about the baby this week:

~Eyebrows and eyelashes are now very noticeable!
The hair on his head is growing longer. Some babies are born with almost none at all, while others appear to be ready for their first haircut! We have had two bald babies before so we will see...
~Eyes are completely formed now.

~Baby's body is getting plump and rounded. Most of that increase is muscle tissue and bone. Fat will be added during the third trimester.
~Muscle tone is improving. Preparation for the Olympics feels like it is taking place in your womb! (yes it is!!)
~Lungs are capable of breathing now although still too early for birth

~He is now able to recognize our voices and will often calm to it later on!
~He now weighs in between 2.2 2 and 2.5 pounds and is about 14.8 inches. We shall see if this is true. I have a growth sono this Friday...
