IT'S "D" DAY!!

What a day!! We headed to Saint Joseph's Hospital at 5:40am.. We were taken to our room for our 6am induction and things began quickly. By 7am I had my IV in, blood drawn and my pitocin was started. Heidi came to join us around 8:15am and when she arrived I was already contracting every 3-4 minutes. Things were fast from here... My OB came and broke my water, I then got my epidural (relief).. I called my Mom around 12:45pm to let her know that I was still resting and there was nothing new to report. About 30 min later I got an urge to push- Cameron Pearce Chaney was then born at 1:41pm. He weighed in at 8lbs 7.2 oz and was 20 in long. I was amazed at how fast the labor went.. The delivery-- a little rough- I ended up with a forcep delivery after the vacuum failed- (L+D nurses--- had a 4th deg) it was so worth it though- Cameron is beautiful!! All the grandparents came to visit later that evening...

Here are some pics from that day...
