Allergies..Ecezma..and Asthma

Oh My!

It all started with Braden when he was around 3 months.. a little eczema here and there.. At 12 months we learned he had an allergy to eggs, peanuts, and some tree nuts. Last year in December (after multiple bouts of "pneumonia".. he was diagnosed with asthma.. He had his follow up appt with his asthma/allergy doctor 2 weeks ago where I was happy to report that no major episodes had occurred... He had his blood drawn for his allergies and the results are in.. We will do a peanut challenge in the months to come...

Now, fast forward to this week. New Years Eve was spent watching Braden closely with a fever of 103 and coughing spells. His fever broke but the coughing continued on. I took him for his 5 year checkup yesterday. He was still wheezing so we are continuing the albuterol nebs every few hours. I am hoping it works. After 2 days of the albuterol nebs he is doing much better.. Sean and I however are trying to pull him off the walls.. His poor face as you can see from the pics is covered with eczema.. He was given a Rx for Elidel.. Oh and did I mention that today he started screaming that he ear hurt.. I took a look and sure enough.. ear infection-

Now for Cameron.. I went to bathe him last night.. took off his clothes and found this- ECZEMA!!! ERHHH.. What a start to 2009!
